Kalimantan is the largest island of Indonesia. We have projects in Kalimantan and there are nama-hatta area which is lived by some grhastas. We visited Palangka Raya, Center of Kalimantan on the first day. One project in Palangka Raya is Lalit Pura Seva Kunja which has 1.1 hectares for ashrama’s area. There are so many trees are giving vegetables and fruits. For now, one grhasta stay in the ashram and arrange all of activities in the ashram. They are Giri-Govardhan prabhu’s family. Giri-Govardhana prabhu is a retired and already spent many times in the garden. He has skill for gardening and architecture. That’s why he decided to spend his time with his family in the ashram. There was a good arrangement that in the same day there was a program of Srila Prabhupada Yatra. ISKCON in Indonesia made a special program for 50th Anniversary of ISKCON or ISKON Golden Jubilee. The program is go around Indonesia with Srila Prabhupada deity. And exact when we arrived in the ashram, Srila Prabhupada also came to the ashram. We offered Guru Puja and kirtan in the evening. After that, H.H. Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaja gave a lecture about Srila Prabhupada Lila, cow protection and bramanical culture.

In the morning, Guru Maharaja took darsan to the cows in Goshala. Guru Maharaja gave a small class about cow care in Goshala. Guru Maharaja also suggested that devotees in Palangka Raya should take care of the cows and care about cows’ health and cows’ cleanness. After that the devotees brought out the cows from Goshala and the cows were free to move.

We continued our preaching program and Srila Prabhupada Yatra to Basarang, Centre of Kalimantan. There is a nama-hatta and many devotees gathered at Candrapati prabhu’s house which a temporary center there. We conducted kirtan and Guru Puja in the evening. Afer that, Guru Maharaja gave a class about cow protection, brahmanical culture and traditional education. He also showed some videos about gurukula and cow protection. All devotees interested to see those videos. Guru Maharaja gave explainations about the videos.

The last day, we conducted a meeting about projects development in Kalimantan. There were reports from Sundar Gopal prabhu who is project manager of Ganga Sagara Baru. He said that Ganga Sagara Baru which has 125 hectares area is going well right now. Still growing some trees ang giving fruits in Ganga Sagara Baru. But we need more devotee to live in Ganga Sagara Baru. Because for now only one grhasta is living in the project. That grhasta is Sundar Gopal prabhu’s family. Finally, devotees in Kalimantan will make a cooperation with Indonesia Peduli Surabhi Network (IPSN) to promote this project and find more devotees to join to the project. He also asked all devotees in Kalimantan to take care of the cows and land in the project. In the evening, Guru Maharaja visited another place in Kapuas, Center of Kalimantan. Guru Maharaja with Srila Prabhupada deity visited a grhasta’s house in Kapuas. After the program, Guru Maharaja and Srila Prabhupada deity back to Basarang to prepare the next trip.
