Daily Quote – Devotees have to be more alert

When we become a devotee, it’s like declaring war on maya because maya is all pervading, so we are having to face this material world, this material energy, especially in the western countries where the direction is totally opposite to where we want to go. We want to have spiritual association, we want to be reminded of Krishna, but everywhere we go it’s the opposite, like the billboards are reminding us not at all of Krishna, rather reminding to enjoy your senses in so many different ways.
